As winds grow colder and leaves begin to turn, the advent of autumn can mean different things to different people. To some it means back to school lunches and desperately trying to find an alternative to yet another peanut butter and jelly sandwich. To others it signals the start of pumpkin spice everything. For us here at Kuli Kuli, we are all giddy with excitement for our latest product launch of Moringa Green Energy Shots!
Our new product will join Kuli Kuli’s family of moringa-inspired goodies: our classic raw vegan moringa bars, pure moringa powder, and our recently released moringa tea. The shots will come in three flavors: ginger lemon, coconut lime, and raspberry. We have partnered with the Clinton Foundation to expand our sourcing of Moringa to Haiti, and all of the moringa used in our shots will be sourced directly from Haitian women’s co-ops. This will help provide sustainable income for small farmers living in the country with the highest rate of malnutrition in the entire Western Hemisphere. Furthermore, the fast-growing moringa tree requires minimal amounts of water and is the perfect plant to reforest a country where only 1% of the original forest still remains. For more information about our Haiti project, click here for a message from our own Lisa Curtis, founder and CEO of Kuli Kuli Foods!
All of this is quite spectacular, but we can’t do it without your help! As of now we are about a third of the way to reaching our crowdfunding goal of $100,000 to make this exciting product launch a reality. You can learn more about our new product and donate by clicking here. There are a ton of moringa-inspired incentives for all levels of donation, and you could help us get to that 50% mark this week! In fact, if we reach that point of $50,000 by October 10th, we will be rewarded with a $20,000 challenge bonus! Will you help us get there?
This month we will also be welcoming two new bloggers to our nationwide team of health and justice crusaders devoted to the written word. For October you can look forward to a slew of articles on topics ranging from seasonal recipes using our pure moringa powder, to thinkpieces on the state of school lunches, from tasty moringa treats in lieu of unhealthy Halloween sweets to essays on the timeless practices of yogis.
A big thank you to everyone who has followed us for the past two years in our mission to educate the world on the innumerable health benefits of moringa.
