What is driving these trends?

Kuli Kuli’s Founder and CEO, Lisa Curtis, recently took a closer look at what is establishing these patterns. Curtis came to the conclusion that these top 2020 trends are being driven by millenials, who now constitute the majority of adults.

Given the one-person household and racial diversity present in the millennial population, Curtis stated, “The person walking down the grocery store aisle is likely to be shopping for herself, and possibly her partner or roommates. Her parents might have grown up in a different country, and she might be more open to spicier or unique flavors. Whole Foods Market highlighted this trend in their 2020 Trends List featuring West African flavors.”

West African flavors and foods are currently making their debut in a variety of beverage and food options. Whole Foods reports, “Brands are looking to West Africa for its superfoods like moringa and tamarind.” Our team is proud to say that we have been looking to West Africa since 2014 to source our Organic Pure Moringa Powder.

We proudly source only the freshest moringa leaves, and produce the highest quality moringa products on the market including bars, moringa powder, smoothie mixes, shots and teas.  We are super excited to see other West African ingredients and foods gaining recognition.

Our mission is to improve the livelihood and nutrition of people world-wide through a variety of moringa products. By working with small farmers all over the world, we are helping to drive economic growth, sustainable agricultural development and women’s empowerment, ultimately creating a world where everyone has the resources and knowledge to access the nutritional power of moringa. By rejuvenating moringa as a tool for nutritional security, we hope our generation and all future generations thereafter will not only imagine a world without hunger, but will create one.

Tip: New to moringa? We recommend trying our Organic Pure Moringa Powder.
