Mango Moringa Smoothie

1 cup of coconut water

In smoothies that make use of greens, coconut or plain water is generally preferred over nut milk. However, this is dependent on personal taste. Coconut water is a fantastic source of potassium & magnesium, two minerals that promote heart health. Use chilled coconut water if you would like the smoothie to be extra cool.

1/2 cup of frozen mango

Mango is one of the sweetest fruits that there is and it helps make this smoothie more palatable. Adding frozen fruits to smoothies helps thicken them up and gives them a milkshake like consistency. Mango is an excellent source of vitamins A and C.

1/2 cup of frozen blueberries

Blueberries are considered to be one of the healthiest foods on the planet, thanks to the large quantities of antioxidants that they contain. Moringa is also rich in antioxidants, so the two ingredients combined make this smoothie a nutritional powerhouse. Antioxidants fight free radicals in your body, thereby helping prevent cancer and heart disease.
