Ice cream: one of the great joys of summer. It’s cool, creamy, and comes in every flavor combination imaginable. The problem is, it’s not always the healthiest snack, it can be expensive, and it’s not like you can just whip up some at home any old time…or can you? Sure, you could buy an expensive ice cream maker, but what if I told you that you could make ice cream at home with things that you already have? What if I told you it only required three ingredients?

It turns out, blended up; frozen bananas turn into the consistency of soft serve ice cream. Who knew? Naturally, I decided to put a Kuli Kuli spin on this already simple recipe and made it a healthy and easy alternative to ice cream.

Ingredients

-2 or 3 bananas

-1 cup frozen or fresh strawberries

-1 tablespoon Kuli Kuli Moringa Powder

-Blender or food processor

First, peel ripened bananas and slice them into pieces. Place them in an air-tight container and freeze them. Do the same if you choose to use fresh strawberries. After both fruits are frozen, place them in the blender or food processor and add the moringa.

Blend the mixture until smooth, scoop out of the blender or food processor and enjoy!

This recipe has room for endless variations. Try different fruits besides strawberries, peanut butter, chocolate chips, or caramel sauce.
