Our Moringa Powerballs* are perfect for eating on the go. They’re made from clean, healthy ingredients that are packed with protein, fruit, and vitamins to satisfy those early morning or late-afternoon hunger cravings. All of our recipes include one tablespoon of our Pure Moringa Vegetable Powder, which gives you an extra kick of iron, calcium, vitamins, antioxidants, and all 9 essential amino acids. Mmmmm…Just what the doctor ordered!
The best part is that they’re easy to make: you’ll have a week’s worth of Powerballs in about 30 minutes. You can also customize the Powerballs to taste, adding whatever toppings your find in your pantry. Enjoy!
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup coconut oil or nut butter
1/3 cup maple syrup or raw honey
1/4 cup cacao powder
1 tablespoon Pure Moringa Vegetable Powder
1 cup chia seeds
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup shredded sweetened coconut, toasted
1/2 cup Goji berries
1/2 cup dried cherries or other dried fruit
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Makes 16-20 Powerballs
- In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, cacao powder, coconut oil, maple syrup, Pure Moringa Powder, and vanilla. Mix in goji berries, half the chia seeds, and dried fruit. Feel free to add any additional seeds, nuts, or berries as you like, until the consistency is slightly sticky and can be rolled into a ball.
- Combine the remaining chia seeds and shredded coconut on a plate.
- Spoon 1-2 tablespoons of the mixture and roll into golfball sized rounds. Roll the balls in the chia seed and coconut plate to coat until not sticky. Feel free to use other toppings to coat such as moringa powder, cocoa powder, or chopped nuts.
- Store in a Ziplock container, refrigerated for up to 1 week.
